Waited 7 years for this day!

Ellies first day skiing! We had so much fun and she did awesome!! This was better than Christmas Day for me. Brighton had the best snow! I think I've got her addicted.

Oh yeah, we ran into Mrs. Claus. She told Ellie she was tired of making cookies and had to go skiing. Oh how I can relate!!!

We skied with my sis, bro, Isabel and Katie. Such a great day!!! Thanks for playing with us!

Not Blog Appropriate!

Start with the disclaimer...this is not really blog appropriate. BUT, I had to share. Ellie and Kaya had a recital last night. Ellie was singing and Kaya playing the piano for the song "Jingle Bells." They have been taking lessons all fall and were really excited. We were in the car going to the recital and I thought it would be a good idea to have one last practice on the song. Ellie starts to sing when I realize she is saying one "hor" open sleigh through the entire song. I stopped her and said it was one "horse" open sleigh. This was our little conversation...
E: No its not Mom. Its Hor
D: I promise Ellie its Horse
E: No Mom, Barbara told me
D: I'm pretty sure your singing teacher told you to sing Horse.
E: No Mom, its hor
D: Ellie! you cannot say hor. It is a bad word! The song says Horse. Now sing it with Horse!
E: Its a bad word? What does it mean?
D: Its a lady that doesn't wear a lot of clothes and its really gross. Its like saying stupid.
E: Mom! you just said "stupid"
D: I know I am trying to explain what a bad word it is.
E: Like the "B" word?
Okay, I'm thinking. Where in the world did she hear the "Beyotch" word?!!! So I have to find out.
D: What "B" word? You can say it this once and then never say it again.
E: But, I'll get in big trouble.
D: No you won't just tell me one time.
E: Okay, "Butt"
Phuew!!!!! HUGE relief!!! If Butt is the worst word she knows then I must be doing something right. I love this little girl!! Any tips or tricks for keeping her "little"?

By the way she did sing "one horse open sleigh". They did an awesome job and are such great friends. Afterward we all rushed to their gymnastics review and that is always so fun. The have both gotten really good. We are so proud of our little singer and gymnast!

Millecam "Babies"

Soooo excited to see Santa. Ellie asked for Zhu Zhu pets, Korbin wants a
remote control Monster Truck, and well, Karson just gave that ol' beard a pull! Sorry Santa!!

Temple Square

We went to see the lights and then hit the Childrens Museum. The best combo in the world!
It was so fun to hang with Zac and his kids.

Jer finished the Provo Halloween Half Marathon. It was so fun to watch him run! He finished under two hours! Yeah!! Great job Jer...we are sooo proud you!

My cousin plays volleyball for the U. We finally were able to go watch her. Wow! They are so dang good! I am used to High School ball so it was fun to watch College!

Halloween was so fun this year! Ellie was a geisha (again!) and Korbin was a power ranger. I let them pick their own costumes as it is more their holiday than mine. We hit all the houses in our neighborhood. The most we have ever trick or treated. The weather was just so awesome the kids wanted to keep going. They loved doing it with their friends!

October get-a-ways...

We finally made it down to the condo in St. George. We spent every waking minute at the pool. The weather was fantastic and it was so nice to have a quick get-a-away with our kids.

We didn't want to leave!

We did make it to Zions for a hike to a awesome cave! Korbin had a map and guided us the whole way. It was so gorgeous and no crowds! My kind of vaca.

Korbins soccer team this fall was so fun to watch. We cheered and screamed as the ball went zooming past him. He did score one goal and I went bananas!!!

Korbin made a spider hat at school. He loves preschool!!

Jer went as Freddie Kruger and I was the bride of Frankenstein to a Halloween party. It was so fun to dress up and see our friends do the same. I only wish this picture did my hair justice!! Thanks Shauna for a great night!!!

Dinosaur Museum in Vernal. We love it out their this time of year. We were going to go up to the Green River that day, but the weather was bad so we hit the museum. Still a good time!

The best pumpkin patch! They have old tractors lined up that Korbin could spend all day climbing on! It's only a matter of time before Karson is right there with him.

We finally made it to the Dew Tour this year. The kids loved it and it always amazes us the stunts and tricks they can do on skateboards and dirtbikes. We will be there every year!!
